Alternative Teaching Certification in Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Department of Education recently adopted standards for Alternative Route to Certification programs. However, no programs have, as of yet, been formally adopted and approved by RIDE. This may change in the near future, as RIDE is currently updating policies and procedures for educator certification.
