Alaska Teacher Reciprocity Agreements

If you were employed as a teacher in another state prior to seeking teaching certification in Alaska, you will need to provide a copy of the teaching certification from that state with your application for a Professional Teaching Certification in Alaska. Download the application from the Alaska Department of Education website.

The following states are members of the NASDTEC Interstate Reciprocity Agreement and have signed reciprocity agreements with Alaska. For more information contact the ADOE at tcwebmail@eed.state.ak.us.
